Freedom in Reconciliation
As a believer in Yeshua since 1976, I have heard messages about forgiveness and reconciliation many times. In 2010 I contacted a few folks in Los Angeles to ask if someone could provide temporary housing for my sister while she looked for an apartment there. One of those contacts was a young Messianic Rabbi, who promptly offered to share the need with his congregation. I never heard from him again.
I never knew I was holding onto unforgiveness. Then I saw him at the Messiah Conference two years later. I knew I had to forgive him. Something unexpected and totally wonderful happened when I went forward to talk to him.
Put fear to rest
It is easy to worry about things in our lives. They can be challenging, but the worry can drag us down even further. The Lord doesn’t want this for us. He wants to carry the burdens of the challenge and the worry. Yeshua said, “Come to me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matt. 11:28).
The Lord made this clear to me in an unusual way during the recent Messiah Conference. At about the middle of the week I felt out of sorts and not up to dealing with a lot of people.
