Story of a Holocaust Survivor
Every year on Yom HaShoah, we remember the six million who lost their lives during the Holocaust and rejoice with the remnant who survived. Holocaust survivor Renate Kaufmann shares her experience as a child in Cologne, Germany, during World War II during an interview with radio show host Ethel Chadwick. Renate, also a poet and an artist, has written her story in a book called "Justify Us Through Your Life."

I have actually met Renate Kaufmann. She is a wonderful lady who has been through so much. She lived, witnessed and experienced such a time in history were HATE was so prevalent. YET, talking to Renate, I believe anyone will find a woman who has a sweet spirit about her, she has love and understanding for everyone. I believe she would still to this day, reach out to people who would otherwise hate her, merely because of her Jewish ethnicity --- and she would reach out to them with LOVE, and give them a hug if they allowed her to.
I think that is a fine example of what Yeshua wishes for all of us to portray in our lives, LOVE for the saints, LOVE for the sinners, and LOVE for all of our enemies ----- thank you Renate for your wonderful example of that LOVE in the Messiah.
